황희정 교수 연구실(EMSL 지구물질과학 연구실)은 GIST 지구·환경공학부 소속으로, 지구 물질에 압력·온도를 조절해 구조 변화와 물성 변화를 연구한다. 다공성물질을 이용한 환경 오염물질 처리와 탄소포집, 고체 지구 물질 순환, 극한환경 에너지 물질 합성을 다루며 방사광가속기를 주로 활용한다.
