김형록 교수 연구실(Hydro AI 수문원격탐사 인공지능 연구실)은 GIST 지구·환경공학부 소속으로, 위성 원격탐사와 인공지능·기계학습, 지표 모델링을 융합해 전 지구 수문순환과 기후변화, 자연재해 예측을 연구한다. 위성 마이크로파 원격탐사로 토양수분과 물순환 변화를 관측하고 AI 기반 지구시스템 예측 모델을 개발한다.
