김홍국 교수 연구실(오디오 지능 연구실, AiTeR)은 GIST 전기전자컴퓨터공학부 소속으로, 오디오 신호처리와 AI를 결합해 음성인식·음성향상·음향 이벤트 검출·음원 분리·화자 검증 등을 연구한다. 언어질의 기반 오디오 소스 분리, 음성 합성, 이상 상황 감지, 다국어 인식·번역 등을 수행하며 국제 DCASE 챌린지에서 1위 수상 실적이 있다.
