김상진 교수 연구실(SYMPLE, 시스템 수준 메모리·프로세서·로직 공학 연구실)은 GIST 전기전자컴퓨터공학부 소속으로, AI 가속기 SoC·칩 설계와 메모리 중심 AI 시스템 아키텍처를 연구한다. 하드웨어 인지 알고리즘 최적화, 거대언어모델(LLM) 가속, 컴퓨팅 인 메모리(CIM) 기술을 통해 차세대 AI 시스템을 풀스택으로 설계하는 것을 지향한다.
