박철민 교수 연구실(유기합성 및 의약화학 연구실)은 UNIST 화학과 소속으로, 유기합성과 의약화학을 연구한다. 가시광선·전기화학 등 대체 에너지원을 활용해 생리활성 화합물과 화학 도구를 위한 새로운 합성법을 개발하며, 헤테로고리 화합물을 중심으로 자가면역질환·항생제·항바이러스·항암 치료제 개발을 수행한다.
