남궁선 교수 연구실(Quantum Nano Device Lab, 양자 나노 소자 연구실)은 UNIST 물리학과 소속으로, 그래핀·흑린·TMDC 등 원자 두께의 저차원 나노물질과 플라즈모닉스를 이용해 광검출기·발광소자·광변조기 등 새로운 광전자 소자를 개발한다. 1D/2D 물질 기반의 광·스핀트로닉·전기 하이브리드 소자와 양자광원을 통해 온칩 초고속 통신·양자컴퓨팅 응용을 지향한다.
