김남훈 교수 연구실(UNIST Computer Integrated Manufacturing Lab, UCIM Lab)은 UNIST 기계공학과 소속으로, 적층제조(3D 프린팅)와 인공지능·시뮬레이션 기반 스마트 제조 시스템을 연구한다. LPBF·DED·SLS 등 적층제조 공정의 미세조직 제어, 기계적 물성 향상, 결함 예측, 그리고 제조 시스템의 복잡도·유연성 분석과 에이전트 기반 시뮬레이션을 다룬다.
