이주용 교수 연구실은 UNIST 컴퓨터공학과 소속으로, 소프트웨어의 신뢰성·안전성·효율성을 자동으로 높이는 '소프트웨어를 위한 소프트웨어'를 연구한다. 현재 자동 버그 탐색과 자동 패치 생성에 집중하고 있으며, 학생에게 유용한 피드백을 자동 제공하는 지능형 프로그래밍 교습 시스템도 연구한다.
