네트워크 보안 및 프라이버시 연구실을 이끌며, 블록체인·5G 이동통신망·IoT 등 새로운 네트워크 시스템에 구조적으로 존재하는 보안·프라이버시 취약점을 발견하고 공격 기법을 제시하며 방어 시스템을 연구한다. 최근에는 블록체인 보안, 인터넷 프로토콜·구조 보안, 이동통신망 보안 등에 집중하고 있다. 2025년 USENIX Security에서 우수논문상(Honorable Mention)을 수상하였다.
