신경과학과 유전체학을 결합한 발생신경유전체학을 연구합니다. 기존 동물 모델로는 포착하기 어려운 인간 뇌 발생 과정을 규명하기 위해, 사후 인간 뇌 조직의 모자이크 돌연변이를 활용해 세포 분화 기전을 탐구합니다. 인간 뇌 발생을 보다 정확히 반영하는 오가노이드와 동물 모델을 구축하여 뇌질환의 이해와 효과적인 치료 전략 개발을 목표로 합니다.
