KAIST 산업디자인학과 교수(2021년 부임)이자 세계적인 미디어 아티스트로, 빛·영상·데이터 등 유·무형의 요소를 넘나드는 몰입형(immersive) 예술과 프로젝션 매핑, 예술과 기술의 접목을 연구한다. 시카고의 대형 디지털 아트 플랫폼 '아트 온 더 마트'에 한국 최초로 초청되었고, TED 2026 메인 연사로 선정되었다.
