대수기하학을 전공하며 Fano 다양체와 양자 코호몰로지(quantum cohomology)를 연구한다. 동질 공간 G/P에 대한 GGI의 Conjecture O를 증명하는 등, 양자 Chevalley 공식과 비음행렬 이론(Perron–Frobenius 정리)을 활용한 연구를 수행해 왔다.
