세포분화학실험실은 형질전환 동물과 세포주 구축에 활용할 수 있는 세포 독성 없는 유전자 발현 시스템을 개발합니다. 또한 열충격단백질(HSP90)이 단백질분해시스템(UPS)을 조절하는 단백질 항상성 기전을 연구하며, TALEN·RGEN 등 유전자 가위 기술을 활용한 유전자 녹아웃 연구를 수행합니다.
