박막·나노구조 기반 물성 물리를 연구하는 서혜원 교수 연구실이다. 이종접합 구조, 나노로드, 유전 특성, 발광 스펙트럼 등을 다루며 최근에는 산화티타늄 복합 나노박막을 이용한 테라헤르츠 전자파 차폐 연구를 수행했다. 한국물리학회 학술지 '새물리'에 꾸준히 논문을 발표해 2024년 가을 한국물리학회상을 수상했다.
