경북대 신소재공학부 부교수로 에너지 하베스팅 소재와 플렉서블 압전 에너지 소자를 연구한다. 셀룰로오스 기반의 얇고 유연한 친환경 열전소재를 개발하는 등 유연 에너지 변환 소자 분야에서 성과를 내어 원암학술상을 수상했다. 경북대 신소재공학 학사, KAIST 신소재공학 석사·박사 출신이다.
