고봉환 교수 연구실은 동국대 기계공학과 소속으로, 회전기계·구조물의 상태 모니터링과 결함 진단, 예측 유지보수 기술을 연구한다. 신호처리와 머신러닝·딥러닝을 활용해 베어링·기어 등 회전체 부품의 결함을 조기 탐지하고, 군집지능 및 스마트 무선센서 네트워크를 이용한 대형 구조물 결함 탐지·위치 추정 기술을 개발한다. 고봉환 교수는 학과장을 맡고 있다.
