임찬 교수의 유기광전자 연구실은 건국대 화학과 소속으로, 유기 광전자 소재와 소자의 광물리적 특성을 연구한다. 독일 마르부르크 대학교에서 박사 학위를 받고 막스플랑크 고분자연구소 고분자 분광 연구그룹에서 연구한 이력을 바탕으로, 유기 태양전지를 비롯한 광전자 소재의 광생성 전하 거동과 분광 특성을 다룬다.
