박용선 교수 연구실은 건국대 화학과 소속으로, 생물학적으로 중요한 분자의 비대칭 합성을 위한 새로운 합성 방법론과 전략을 연구한다. 특히 입체화학적으로 불안정한 화합물을 활용한 입체선택적 반응에 초점을 두며, 촉매를 이용한 비대칭 제거 반응과 입체배열이 불안정한 α-브로모산 유도체를 이용한 헤테로고리 화합물 합성을 다룬다.
