KAIST 산업및시스템공학과 이태식 교수의 복잡계 설계 연구실(Complex System Design Lab)이다. 수치 시뮬레이션과 수리 모델링을 활용해 불확실성 하의 최적 의사결정 문제를 연구하며, 의료 서비스 시스템과 물류 시스템 등 복잡한 서비스 시스템의 설계·운영에 초점을 둔다. 응급의료체계 최적화, 병원 선택 모형, 재난 대응 등을 주요 주제로 다룬다.
