문일철(Il-Chul Moon) 교수의 응용인공지능 연구실(Applied AI Lab)은 복잡한 사회·경제 시스템을 이해·설계·관리하는 것을 목표로 한다. 확산모델(diffusion models), 대규모 언어모델 정렬, 데이터셋 증류, 강화학습, 도메인 일반화 등 머신러닝 방법론과 시뮬레이션·디지털 트윈 연구를 수행한다.
