김규태 교수의 연소 불안정 및 레이저진단 연구실(Combustion Dynamics and Diagnostics Lab)은 발전용·항공용 가스터빈 엔진에서 발생하는 연소 불안정 현상을 실험실 규모 연소 실험, 열음향 모델링, 데이터 기반 머신러닝 기법으로 연구한다. 캔-애뉼러 연소기의 다중 연소기 음향 상호작용, 탄소중립을 위한 희박 예혼합 수소 화염 거동, 수소/메탄/프로판 혼소 조건에서의 연소 불안정 및 NOx 측정 등을 주요 주제로 다룬다.
