심현정 교수가 이끄는 KAIST 김재철AI대학원 Computer Vision & Machine Learning(CVML) Lab으로, 컴퓨터비전과 기계학습을 연구한다. 신뢰 가능한 생성형 AI, 안전이 중요한 인식·추론(저조도·악천후·자율주행), 공간지능 기반의 물리적 그라운딩, 효율적·확장 가능한 AI(모델 압축·데이터셋 최적화)에 초점을 둔다. 심 교수는 카네기멜런대 박사 출신으로 2022년 KAIST에 합류했다.
