지능생산시스템연구실은 인공 장기 재생을 최종 목표로, 기계공학에 기반한 인공지지체 제작과 바이오 잉크 개발, 3차원 조직·장기 프린팅 기술을 연구한다. 생체적합성·생분해성을 갖춘 인공지지체를 3D 프린팅과 CAD/CAM 미세가공으로 제작하며, 내·외부 형상 조절과 다양한 생체재료 활용이 가능한 세계적 수준의 조직공학 기술을 보유하고 있다.
