KAIST 전기및전자공학부 하정석(Jeongseok Ha) 교수의 부호 및 통신 연구실(CoCoA Lab, 2004년 설립)이다. 통신 시스템, 부호 이론, 물리 계층 보안을 중심으로 LDPC·Turbo·Polar 등 오류정정부호, 저장장치용 오류제어, 정보이론적 보안, 양자 통신·암호 등을 연구한다.
