데이터마이닝 연구실(Data Mining Lab)을 이끌며 대규모 그래프·하이퍼그래프·텐서 등 복잡한 구조 데이터를 분석하는 확장 가능한 데이터마이닝 기법을 연구한다. 그래프 마이닝, 이상탐지, 대규모 기계학습 알고리즘 설계를 주요 주제로 다룬다.
