KAIST 과학기술정책대학원(STP) 김소영(So Young Kim) 교수로, 과학기술과 공공정책의 접점에 있는 정부 R&D 지원·평가, 기초과학정책, 과학자문, 과학기술 인력정책, 과학기반 ODA, 신흥기술의 글로벌 거버넌스 등을 연구한다. 국제정치경제와 정량적 방법론을 기반으로 하며 2007년 KAIST에 부임해 STP 대학원장을 역임했다.
