상변화 제어 신소재 연구실을 이끌며 비정질 합금·금속유리 등 가역적 비정질 구조 제어 기반 신소재를 연구한다. 삼성전자 미래기술육성센터 소재기술 프로그램에 선정되어, 가역 비정질 구조 제어로 특성 복귀능을 갖는 '리셋어블 리퀴드메탈 하모닉 드라이브' 개발을 수행한다.
