About

연료전지, 수전해, 금속-공기 전지, 이차전지 등 다양한 전기화학 시스템에 필요한 고활성·고내구성 촉매와 전극 구조를 설계·합성하는 연구를 수행한다. 나노촉매, 단원자 촉매, 코어-셸 구조, 탄소 기반 촉매 등을 통해 산소환원반응(ORR)·산소발생반응(OER)·수소발생반응(HER)·이산화탄소 환원 반응의 효율을 높인다. 기초과학연구원(IBS) 나노입자연구단 그룹리더를 겸한다.
