김윤배 교수 연구실은 성균관대 물리학과 소속으로, 입자물리 이론과 초끈 이론에 기반한 장론·양자장론을 연구한다. 초대칭 장론의 BPS 구조를 다루며, 비균일 자기 불순물을 도입한 모형에서 보고몰니 방정식 분석을 통해 와류(vortex)·Q-ball 등 솔리톤의 성질을 탐구한다.
