서울대 컴퓨터공학부 이제희 교수의 Movement Research Lab(SNU MRL)은 인간 움직임을 이해·표현·애니메이션하는 새로운 방법을 연구한다. 전신 모션 분석과 합성, 모션 캡처, 모션 플래닝, 인터랙티브 아바타 제어, 지능형 가상 캐릭터를 핵심 주제로 다룬다. 최근에는 Physical AI, 해부학적 인체 모델링·시뮬레이션, 심층 강화학습 기반 사족 보행 로봇 및 생체 시뮬레이션 제어 등으로 연구를 확장하고 있다. SIGGRAPH 등 컴퓨터 그래픽스 최상위 학회에 다수의 논문을 발표해 왔다.
