지명국 교수의 연세관측우주론그룹(YOUNG)은 연세대 천문우주학과 소속으로, 중력렌즈를 이용한 관측우주론과 암흑물질·암흑에너지, 은하단을 연구한다. 허블·제임스 웹 우주망원경(JWST) 데이터를 활용한 약·강 중력렌즈 분석을 수행하며, 우주 정오 시기 은하단 XLSSC 122의 강한 중력렌즈 아크를 발견하는 등의 성과를 냈다.
