KAIST 바이오및뇌공학과 이영석 교수의 Young Laboratory in Quantitative and Computational Biology(계산분자생물학) 연구실로, 데이터 과학·응용통계·기계학습을 활용해 정량생물학과 생의공학의 근본 문제를 다룬다. 단일 염기 해상도의 확률 모델로 인간 유전체를 해독하고 그 분자적 통찰을 대규모 생물학적 네트워크 맥락에서 통합하며, 기능 RNA의 조절 축 규명에 관심을 둔다.
