루오프 로드니(Rodney S. Ruoff) 특훈교수 연구실(다차원 탄소재료 연구단, IBS Center for Multidimensional Carbon Materials)은 UNIST 화학과 소속으로, 새로운 탄소 및 관련 재료의 합성과 물리·화학적 특성을 연구한다. 그래핀, 육방정 질화붕소, 다이아몬드, 다공성 탄소 구조 등을 다루며 그래핀 분야의 세계적 권위자로서 대면적 그래핀 박막 성장법을 개척했다.
