조승우 교수 유전체 엔지니어링 연구실(Genome Engineering Lab)은 UNIST 바이오메디컬공학과 소속으로, CRISPR 기술을 이용해 질병 관련 유전체·후성유전체 이상을 교정하는 연구를 수행한다. 유전체 요소를 직접 편집해 잘못 조절된 유전자 발현을 바로잡고, CRISPR 라이브러리 스크리닝으로 질병 관련 기능성 긴 비번역 RNA(lncRNA)를 발굴한다.
