화공그린에너지학과 생물화공 연구실로, 합성생물학과 대사공학을 기반으로 미생물 균주 개발을 연구합니다. 튜너블 CRISPRi 시스템과 합성 RNA 소자를 활용한 유전자 발현 정밀 제어, 대사 플럭스 재분배를 통한 라이코펜 등 유용물질 생산 최적화를 다룹니다. Nature Communications, Nature Chemical Biology, Metabolic Engineering 등에 발표하였습니다.
