융합 나노공학을 통한 통합 에너지 시스템을 목표로 연구한다. 전기수력학(EHD)·물리기상증착(PVD) 기반 나노제조, 리튬이온·전고체·금속공기 전지 등 에너지 저장, 폐에너지를 전기·수소로 변환하는 에너지 하베스팅을 다룬다.
