신경과학 연구실을 운영하며 약물중독의 신경생물학적 기전을 연구한다. 코카인 등 약물이 중뇌-선조체 도파민 경로에 작용하는 메커니즘을 규명하며, 2022년 PNU-우수연구실(일반부문)로 선정되었다.
