연성·생체 물질의 통계물리(Statistical Physics of Soft/Biological Matter)를 연구하는 이론 연구실이다. 고분자 물리, 상전이, 생물물리, 무질서계 등 연성응집물질의 통계역학을 이론·계산적으로 다루며, 반유연성 고분자 사슬의 거동 등을 연구한다.
