김한규 교수 연구실(야생동물 보전 생태학 연구실)은 경희대 생명과학과 소속으로, 야생에서 살아가는 동물 개체군과 군집을 연구한다. 정량 연구 기법과 현장·실험 기법을 활용하여 개체군 동태, 생물다양성의 보험 가설 기전, 철새의 이동과 개체군 연결성, 멸종위기종 개체군 평가, 생태계 기후변화 영향 등을 분석한다.
