이진오 교수 연구실(PSL)은 KENTECH 에너지공학부(Grid Modernization) 소속으로, DC 전력망과 인버터 기반 전력망을 연구한다. DC 전력시스템, 하이브리드 AC/DC 마이크로그리드, 인버터 우세 전력시스템, 전력계통 안정도를 다루며, 교수는 서울대 전기·컴퓨터공학 박사로 한국전기연구원(KERI) 선임연구원을 역임했다.
