정승원(Seungwon Eugene Jeong) 교수는 KAIST 기술경영학부(경영대학) 교수로 메타버스대학원에 겸임 참여한다. 미시경제 이론과 응용(경매, 메커니즘 디자인, 시장 설계, 사회·경제 네트워크, 블록체인/암호화폐, 머신러닝)을 연구한다. 스탠퍼드대 박사 출신으로 페이스북 경제학자, 브리스톨대 강사를 거쳤다.
