소개

전력전자를 전공하며 고성능 전기기기(전동기) 제어, 전력 품질, 무정전 전원 장치를 이용한 전력 공급 등을 연구한다. 1970년대 초 개설된 전력전자연구실을 1991년부터 이끌며 전동기 구동과 AC-DC, AC-AC 전력 변환 장치를 다룬다. 국내외 기업과 다수의 프로젝트를 수행하고 연구 결과를 산업화하여 산업 발전에 기여하고 있다.
