KAIST 바이오및뇌공학과 Christopher D. Fiorillo 교수의 계산신경생리학 연구실(Computational Neurophysiology Laboratory)은 계산 원리와 신경생리학·행동 분석을 결합해 뇌의 정보 처리를 이해하는 이론신경과학 연구를 수행한다. 보상 예측 오차(reward prediction error)를 신호하는 중뇌 도파민 뉴런과 예측을 뇌의 일반 기능으로 보는 이론적 틀이 핵심 주제다.
