이성배 교수 연구실은 DGIST 뇌과학전공 소속으로, 신경퇴행성 질환과 신경세포 노화의 세포 기전을 연구한다. 초파리(Drosophila) 모델을 활용해 단백질 독성 기전, 신경세포 유지·리모델링, C9ALS/FTD 등 신경퇴행 질환 병리를 규명한다.
