이승현 교수 연구실(이상유동 열관리 연구실)은 GIST 기계공학부 소속으로, 이상유동(two-phase flow)과 첨단 열관리 기술을 연구한다. 마이크로채널 유동비등·과냉비등·드라이아웃 현상을 실험과 해석으로 다루며, 배터리 열관리 시스템의 초기 드라이아웃 발생점을 예측하는 AI 기법을 개발했다.
