이건희 교수 생체통합 기계 연구실(Bio-Integrated Machines Lab)은 UNIST 바이오메디컬공학과 소속으로, 유연 센서를 직물 구조에 직접 통합한 스마트 의류와 인간-기계 인터페이스, 소프트 로보틱스를 연구한다. 생체신호 모니터링용 웨어러블 센서, 인쇄 기반 바이오일렉트로닉 및 열 인터페이스 기술을 개발하며 디지털 헬스케어와 재활 로보틱스에 응용한다.
