정일석 교수 연구실(나노광전자 연구실, Nano-Optoelectronics Lab)은 UNIST 전기전자공학과 소속으로, 나노구조 광전자 소자를 연구한다. 온칩 레이저·광증폭기·검출기를 갖춘 실리콘 포토닉스 집적회로, 집적형 LiDAR 칩, 초고속 데이터센터·6G 통신용 혁신 레이저, 바이오·의료 진단 칩을 개발한다.
