서영훈 교수는 충북대학교 컴퓨터공학과에서 자연어처리와 음성인식 분야를 연구해 왔다. 한국정보과학회 언어공학연구회 등에서 음성·언어 정보처리 관련 논문을 발표한 이력이 있으며, 학부 C 프로그래밍 등 기초 컴퓨터 과목 교육에도 참여해 왔다.
