에너지-물질 촉매 연구실(EMCL)로, 전기장·빛·플라즈마가 동적인 전기화학 계면에서 분자 변환을 어떻게 구동하는지 연구합니다. 물 전기분해, CO2 전환, 암모니아 전기분해, 연료전지 등 전기촉매와 플라즈모닉스, 카이랄성 기반 스핀 선택성, 플라즈마, 인-시츄(in-situ) 분석을 다룹니다. 대만국립대와의 국제 공동연구로 플라즈모닉 현상을 활용한 차세대 아연-공기전지용 고성능 촉매 설계 전략을 제안한 바 있습니다.
