About

제주대학교 기계시스템공학과 교수로 세부전공은 기계설계이며 MIMD 연구실(Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary Mechanical Design Laboratory)을 운영한다. 생체모방 등 최신 기법을 활용한 다학제·학제간 기계설계 및 해석을 수행하며, 풍력·조류 터빈 설계와 해석, 수중로봇 설계와 해석, 파라메트릭 연구 및 최적화 기반 메커니즘·구조 설계, 실험·전산 도구를 이용한 유체동역학 해석을 연구한다.
